James was on and what shall I say? He was just brilliant! His acting was superb. There was so much sparkle coming from him -it's amazing! His 'Angry Dance' was so powerful and full of passion - as was 'Electricity'. When he does 'The Letter Reply' I always want to jump up the stage to comfort him and cheer him up. But I know you're not crying for real James, are you??? You're just trying to trick us...well, it works for me! :) I really love the bit in 'Born to Boogie' when James joins in to dance with Haydn and sticks his tongue out. That's so funny. I really think we should get a photo of that...(!!!)
Joey was Michael this afternoon. It was the first time that I saw him and I thought he was great...the way he pulled Cindy the Nurse out of his pocket-so funny. He's never been on with James before but he really enjoyed it (Had a little chat with him at the stage door) He's a lovely little guy!
Tim Healy was brilliant as well. His acting is great. He actually cried during 'Electricity', I've never seen him doing that before. Have you?
Haydn is back and 'Born to Boogie really rocks when she does it.
The ballet girls were brilliant and so was everybody else!
That's it.
Ah yes, there is no snow. Really strange. Maybe the guy who cuts all the plastic bags into little pieces is ill...
It was a wonderful show.
Good luck to you James.
We'll miss you lots but hopefully see you again :)
Thanks for the review bifi! I am dissapointed about the snow, just like when the producer of mary poppins deleted the encore of supercalifragilistic (although they have restored it now)
Waiting for your pictures

I think that the lack of fake snow is due to one of two reasons. Either there is a lack of funds to pay for the fake snow - which - judging by parts of the theatre itself - might mean that there is not enough money going into certain essentials - meaning that they have to cut back on certain 'extras' in this case the snow.
The second possible reason is that there were fears of someone slipping on the fake snow as it does make the stage slippery.
Or, if I might add a third possibilty, the scene that comes after - does not need snow for obvious reasons and it looked very unprofessional having people sweeping the stage in the transition from one scene to the next.
If there is anybody that works in the production team or in the theatre that reads this forum ... maybe they can explain the lack of snow.

You can call me Jeremy as that is my name. Yes, it is from Star Trek, they are all of the Enterprises - although due to the small size of the picture - it is hard to see - click on my profile and then click to enlarge the photo - you should see it better then.
thats what i thought it was but i wasnt sure. god i havent seen star trek in forever. truth be told, though, i was never a fan

I just had a thought. Lucy is leaving and so is George. Well they aren't in the same group (they don't perform together) so does this mean Lucy is going to leave the day before or something or is she gong to perform with George on the 3rd. Very confused, can anyone help?
Wayne Sleep is a VERY famous ballet dancer. he was in 'Song & Dance', created the role of Mr. Mistofelees (sp??) in London production of Cats and I think he did the Emcee in Cabaret and also did the Childcatcher in Chitty.

Hi, I know I am completely changing the subject but it struck me when I saw George and then James that although they both do the same style of dance-like street dance-George seemed to do slightly more ballet for example he did a few piroettes. (sp?) Did anyone else notice this?
Bunny2, I think James and George does the same steps and I think more-or-less the same approuch to the character - more of a rebel, angry Billy. And Liam and Leon does the same ballet steps too.
