You know so much and still it's so little. Racism can be an internal bias passed down to you without you even knowing it. it's the open gall for this thread and TikTok to rag on Billy Porter (a Black gay man) for weeks because subconsciously he's lower on the totem pole in society than that of a Beanie. I doubt such antics would happen to a white woman and if they have please show me where and how to this degree. 

All of you are not racist, but many of you participate in racially based traditions.  I'm not expecting you to understand as many of you don't appear to contain nuance or really care. You want this forum free of accountability, but sadly that's very pre 2020.

The only possible argument would be that a Black performer simply CAN'T be egotistical, in bad voice, or miscast, and to suggest anything of the kind is to demonstrate one's racial bias. You'll note he painted even people who love Audra, and have even loved when she played traditionally white roles in the past (Carrie Pipperige, Lizzy Currie) with the racist brush simply for believing Rose wasn't a good fit for her talents. Ergo, not one single Black actor ever can play any role poorly or be a bad fit for a given part, and to suggest otherwise is to prove you're a racist. If you don't admit you're racist then your racism is simply internalized too deeply for you to be aware of it. 

A pure garbage argument. And also Grade A gaslighting.

“he's lower on the totem pole”? That very pre-2020 of you, Ensemble. I guess you are operating within colonialism based traditions.

Also, go and read the Beanie threads on here. She was horrribly mocked - far worse than Porter.

Anyway, I’m done with this. I’m going to go hang out with my fellow racist white people.
