I wanted Alfred Molina to win for what was an extraordinary and powerful performance. But it did seem to be Hollywood's night. (Wait, don't they have they own night already?)
I thought Scarlett Johansson's performance was one of the worst I've seen in a long time. Completely wooden and emotionless. (I do, actually, think she plays all her roles the same way, I don't think she's a very good actress.)
I don't think voters should be allowed to vote for the orchestration category unless they fully understand what orchestrating means. In fact, the nominating committee should not be allowed to nominate orchestrators unless they fully understand what orchestrating is. I can applaud some of the orchestrators they have bestowed Tonys upon in the past, but this year, much like almost every winner from a musical, was absolute crap. 2010, I'm so over you.
"And I don't think you can bitch about how Liev should have won when you haven't seen all the nominees"
You are right about that, but what I meant to say, is that if anyone in the cast of "View" deserved to win, it was Liev. And I thought Jessica was a lot better than Scarlett too. The Tonys became a popularity contest in the acting category this year unfortunately.

Then we just disagree I suppose. I think it's funny that you say Scarlett plays the every role the same way, but you thought Jessica was better. Jessica ACTUALLY plays the same role in everything, including her other show from this season (Brighton Beach). Her Blanche and her Beatrice were identical. But agree to disagree.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
