During Popular in Wicked Kendra throws the lipstick onto the bed and it rolled right under Steph's leg and onto the floor. Kendra watched it rolling around then proceeded to hop after it singing "Why is this lipstick rolling around on the floor" and when she finally grabbed it she yells out "TOUCHDOWN". All the while Steph is sitting on the bed losing it and then she puts her arms up in the air as if she making the touchdown sign...LOL.
Just last week nobody could throw anything right in Wicked. When Aaron throws Ben's book in DTL it landed on the stairs. He started running, had to turn around and go to the stairs and get it and run all the way around the stairs. When Katie Adams threw her wand of during Popular she almost impaled the guy that catches it. It flew like a javalin at him.
Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!
This might not be a blooper but when I was on my student tour the last night (8/4) we were in London so they brought us to see Blood Brothers on West End. SO in the second act when they are all older and what not I don't remember what scene it was but someone (not in our group) kind of made a loud cackle yell at the back of the theatre and the whole theatre started to laugh even the actors on stage thuey were all laughing for a good minute or so beore they got back into character.
I didn't personally see it, but read about it in a playbill book of some kind. During the Odd Couple when Nathan and Matthew sat on the couch, one foot of the couch broke. Both Nathan and Matthew sat on stage for about 5 minutes adlibbing that they needed to go on diets, etc. until the stage hands could fix it.
Great thing about theatre is that unless you've seen a show more than once, most of the time people forget lines, cues, etc and no one really knows. That's what makes it so great.
The only review of a show that matters is your own.
Unless I missed it while I was skimming through the thread, this one wasn't posted:
At a performance of DRS, Sherie stepped ont he bag with the dog in it during "Here I Am." Well, the bag started yelping before she stepped on it. Hilarious.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

its not really a blooper, but the last 2 times I saw Young Frankenstein, Chris Fitzgerald kept making Roger crack up during the Abby Normal scene when he's sitting on the chair doing all this stuff, waving to the audience... and it was HILARIOUS!!! Roger added a couple of lines and so did Chris. Last time I was in the front row and watching Roger was sooo funny!! Also during the part when Frederick is about the be hanged and Igor say's "you've got the wrong man..." and Roger just started laughing.
Haha, yes, they keep changing those two scenes. What did they add when you saw it?
The most hilarious Abby Normal scene I saw was when Roger just cracked up and had to repeat part of his lines. And Chris just kept going saying things like "Now we're on our way!". Roger got back at him during his chair acrobatics though... Chris was "flying" with his stomach on the chair and Roger said "First time on a chair, huh?". LOL! Chris cracked up and all he could say was "Yes! Great fun!".
Also, at another performance, during the "You've got the wrong man" scene: Chris was waving his finger in front of Roger's mouth and said something "No! Nononono, shhh... no no no!". Roger started laughing, so Chris covered Roger's mouth and just said "It's not funny!". The audience went crazy, it was great. Updated On: 10/21/08 at 07:15 PM
that sounds soo funny! yea, last time Roger said something like "first time in a chair?" or something to that effect. the time before that Chris kind of slipped on the chair and said "wow, this is slippery" and Roger's like "yea". it doesn't sound that funny, but it was hilarious!! lol.
During the "You've got the wrong man scene" Chris did his thing and it looked like Roger was expecting to start laughing even before he started. Chris was walking back and forth in front of Roger telling him "its okay," and "calm down" and stuff like that. It was sooo funny. I hope I can win the lotto again!!
i love the part when Roger's like "Wasn't your hump on the other side?" and Chris just goes to his regular voice and says "I really don't know what you're talking about. Seriously, I don't know what you're talking about." Last time they went on with that scene for a long longer than they usually do though. He does that in every show, but it's still really funny.
I saw Wicked on tour and Donna Vivino was on For Carmen Cusack and when she runs out in Dear Old Shiz or her entrance to the show scrim of the gate didn't open until about 5 seconds after the cue. Nothing much be here is the kicker, Donna wasn't out until about 10 seconds after it opened. So she must have been called in right before the show. She was running from the side just to be on time. Thanks for sharing those, AbbyNormal. They really make a great duo on stage. And I agree with you on the 'hump' bit. One time, Chris said "I've been working out a bit, but yeah...". Roger seemed a little speechless there.
They really do make a great duo!! When one or both of them has an understudy, its not as funny. but most of the times i've seen it, they were both in it!
It wasn't on Broadway, but I saw Grease in London years ago, in October of 1996. At one part of the show, Sandy leaves in a huff, and Danny calls out to her. Instead of calling out "Sandy!" to get her to come back, the actor playing Danny called out her real first name (which escapes me now - I mean it was 12 years ago!) Kenickie then says, "You love her but you don't even know her name? Nice."
It was cute!
"You see, I told you so! There's lots of things I know. 'Ponine, she knows her way around."
And I saw Wicked in July with Nicole and Alli still played Elphaba and Galinda. During popular Alli got to excited during "BALLGOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" and when she went to toss her wand she flung it right off stage and she thought she hit a woman with it.
Alli just asked if she was ok (but in a proffesional matter) and Nicole looked around (in character) as if she didnt understand as to who Alli was talking too.
The women said she was fine (it didnt even come close by her) and Alli smiled and told nicole she threw it out the window.
Opening weekend of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" in the West End, a ball fell in one of the opening scenes and Michael Ball had to run to retrieve it, to mild applause. He was very professional and matter-of-fact about it, I'm not sure many audience even noticed.

Some funny stuff happened At the final performance of Catch Me If You Can. In the first act one of the FBI agents knocked over a chair and it got stuck under the desk as he was trying to pick it back up, he managed to get it unstuck though. In the 2nd act Aaron and Kerry are flirting when some other doctors show up. Usually one of the doctors says "No wonder all the nurses are crazy about him" as they exit but this time another doctor said "I'm crazy about him too" Aaron just stood there with a surprised look on his face, the audience loved it. At the end Norbert handcuffs himself to Aaron, but while they were talking the cuffs slipped off of Norbert. He noticed them dangling off of Aaron's arm so he went to subtly put them back on but it made this very loud clicking sound. The best part of the evening was actually some ad libbing at the end. Norbert took off him jacket and accidently threw it off stage. Aaron hopped down and put it on but the sleeves were way too short and he said "It looks better on me!". Then after the curtain call the entire cast just broke out dancing. Aaron and Norbert grabbed each other and were so crazy that they fell over. It was such a fun finale.
