Rumor amongst U2’s inner circle is that Bono’s current book tour may be a rehearsal for a Broadway residency. Tonight he kicks it off at The Beacon. He was a big fan of what Springsteen did on Broadway and wants to do something similar but with his own twist.
I'm not so sure I believe this. Bono would need a band, unlike Bruce. His music belongs to all of U2. Maybe he could do a Gabriel Byrne type show.
