Does anyone know who will be in the Book of Mormon in the sit down Chicago cast? I have a ticket for December and am really curious. I know that the national tour announced their cast list a while ago.
My friend Cessalee is in the ensemble. Thats all I know. I imagine a press release will come out soon. Im going January 20th, cant wait to see it again!

I don't know if this means they struck out with their earlier round of Cunningham auditions, but they had auditions in Boston, Seattle and San Francisco as late as mid-late September.
A good friend of mine (who is currently in the Broadway cast) got offered and accepted the role of Elder Price. It just hasn't been released yet in an official announcement. They're still auditioning for Cunninghams this upcoming week.
I know who has been offered and accepted the Cunningham standby...sort of surprised he hasn't been offered the main Cunningham. But, who knows what goes down in the minds of the powers that be.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
It's interesting. They have cast a very wide net in seeking people to fill the casts in these shows. Maybe just another example of Parker and Stone doing it their way.
Disagree that it isn't a "hard role to cast." It seems to be quite difficult to find exactly what they're looking for. Have to actually have acting chops, not just a Jack Black impression.
