curious how the lotto & SRO situation is now at Book of Mormon with the show now into it's 5th year?? I think I last did SRO for this show about 2 years & got there around 3:30 with only a few other people waiting in the SRO line. Is 3:30 still a good time or could I arrive later(4:30)? And are they still selling the SRO tickets right after the lotto is done??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
My sister and I got on the standing room line around 30 minutes before the lotto started on a thursday the week after easter, last month. We were 9 and 10th in line and were right in the center of the standing room positions. I think there was a couple who showed up after the lotto (when we were all brought into the box office) who were able to buy standing room tickets.
Also when we first arrived, we were about 25 people back in line because most of the people in line thought the line was for the lotto. They all got out of line when the lotto guy called them over.
Of course, that was a weekday in March, but I would say it's not difficult to get SRO. Even in the summer, I would say an hour before the lotto is a safe bet.
thanks everyone. thinking of seeing the show again in a few weeks.
