I am so happy for Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and their amazing cast and team. This award is well deserved not only because it is fantastic but also since the other two nominees were revivals.

It might have been nice for WoTV to be nominated, but I think The Book of Mormon's win is deserved and unsurprising.

We can also congratulate Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells too, right? They're listed with the rest of them as winners (and not in the parentheses they usually save for those not eligible for the win). If so, congrats! Congrats to all involved! A lot of work was put into this album I'm sure.

I too wish Women on the Verge were nominated. Wish it won too. Then again, the ones I think deserve the win never get the gold in this category.

Happy for them, though I think Women on the Verge deserved the prize. But this win is no surprise. The prize is usually awarded to the best-selling recording.
