Kristin didn't mention anything at the Carnegie Hall concert last night about returning to Wicked. Personally, I would be surprised if she did. Plus, isn't she going to start filming Asphalt Beach soon? Or is that already finished?

Does anyone else think Nancy Anderson could do this role? I know that sounds kind of random - -but after seeing her in "She Loves Me", I really think she could be wonderful in it. The only thing I could see being a problem is the coloratura at the beginning, but honestly -- she hit some crazy high notes in "Wonderful Town" when she went in for Eileen and did a respectable job with it. She just might not have the full glory that Kristin had with the top notes, but neither does JLT, really.

i think it would be fun if for a special 1-night-only performance idina played glinda & kristin played elphaba. then they could make fun of each other! i would definitely pay to see that. there's no chance, but it's a fun idea.

I would definitly pay to see Kristin in the green makeup and Idina in the Glinda gown. True, no chance in hell of that happening but if the people of Wicked ever wanted to throw a special fundraiser then hell, that would make tons of money.
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

As far as serious replacements for JLT go...
I'd LOVE to see Christianne Noll in the part. Saw her as Hope in the national touring company of Urinetown and was absolutely enamored with her.

What is up with the Kristin haters????
I could understand if she had a nasty disposition and was a bitch to all her fans, but, come on, people's! Do you even know her to talk about her this way?
Seriously, I'm sensing envy. The girl has talent, a wonderful personality and GREAT stage presence. She performs flawlessly, and even when she does make a mistake, she incorporates it into her act, and still makes the mistake look perfect.
She's also one of the very few people who has not let fame get to her head.

I AGREE. She is a wonderful person. I have met her at least 9 times and she is a sweet person.
People are just jealous of her. Hell how can you not be.
She has the most incredible range. She can sing an alto comedic role as well as a soprano and both are perfect. She is funny and pretty.

OMG I thought I was the only one who thought that megan Mullaly would be awesome as G(a)linda. at least acting wise. Last time I went to see it when JLT delivered the "Well it appears the artichoke is steamed" line. I was like holy crap Its Karen Walker. Can you imagine her doing papular lol! theres always at least one exchange about graces apperence on the show anyway. To bad she couldn't sing it though. She would be histerical.

Megan is not, has never been, and will never be stunt cast in a show. She is a VERY gifted actress and singer and she REALLY knows how to rip it up on broadway, which she did SEVERAL times before Will and Grace and she was simply stunning. I think it's great that she is going to come back for a little bit, but I agree with whoever said it won't be for a while. If broadwayworld.com and broadway.com and playbill.com don't have anything posted, then it's probably not for a while. My guess is that as soon as she comes back, her die-hard fans will immediately want tickets... so we'll have to wait and see
