Wow. Thought it would at least hang on until after the summer.
The writing's been on the wall for a long time. Wish everybody involved all the best.
My thoughts for all those involved who put many hours, and their heart and soul into this project. Always sad seeing people lose a job.

Oh no! I really loved this show. I know that it was not doing very well at ticket sales and was hoping that it would pick up, but I guess it's just not in the cards. Best of luck to all involved - they put together a beautiful production in my opinion.
It seemingly took forever to get to Broadway and lasted something less than everlasting. Good luck to one and all.

I'm glad I got to see it, I thought it was lovely. I'm sad for all involved, it's a really sweet little show and it deserved better.

Always sad to see a show close so early in a run, especially for all those involved. I wonder if Neil Haskell will return to Hamilton?
I'm very surprised at the quick closing date. I thought they'd have announced closing with more than a week's notice.

I'm looking forward to the cast recording. I loved some of the performances. Sorry to see it go so quickly.
I watched the show via video and even though the book was dull, I did find it visually stunning, nice orchestrations and pretty songs, and wonderful acting esepecially the girl who is Winnie. She has a great future ahead! Congrats to this show!
I was hoping to catch this on my next trip to the city. Sad to be missing it!

Wow thought it would last at least another month or so...was planning on seeing it in the beginning of June. Guess I just saved myself $50.

While not a surprise, sad to hear. Best to all those involved and hope they land on their feet quickly.

There is usually some snark in threads like this, has it all been reported to the MODS??? I'm beginning to take the conspiracy theorist shouting "censorship" seriously.... Thanks allot Patti Murin??

This is sad. If they could have held on til summer they might have had a chance with the families on vacation. It was a good show with a great cast. Glad I got the chance to see it last month. I did notice that Broadway Across America is one of their producers. Maybe that bodes well for a tour, to play the BAA cities?
Too bad this didn't find an audience, it had some charm and a very talented cast, and I'm glad to have seen it. Best of luck to all.

While the show wasn't my favorite of the season, I can see this having a successful life, especially in schools with a junior or TYA version. Even though the association with the book didn't draw in audiences, I really think that it could with student groups.

It's true that there's a surprising lack of snark on this page. I admit that I didn't love the show though I love many of the performers in the show and wish them well.
The difficult feeling for me when something closes early is the warring emotions of "How sad for the people now out of work" and the more selfish "Yay, another open theater for new work!" Even when shows I adore close, a part of me can't help but be excited to find out what's coming next. I'm sure we will know soon enough.

I was hoping to see it when I visited this summer but oh well. I think it will have a life in regional/community/high school theater in the future
For those interested, it is on TDF for 5 dates including the final performance .
