Me three on the Charlotte Maltby rumor. This school year, she has been in New York far more frequently then Ann Arbor. She's a very, very talented young lady and deserves whatever acclaim she gets, wherever that is!
I'm excited so see Ms. Maltby as Cosette. I haven't heard her myself, but a friend of mine was in Les MIs with her at the MUNY and said she's remarkable.
I am hoping they revamp the lighting design to include actual lighting, other than that provided by torch.

The Toronto staging is pretty much the same as the tour. It's kind of the new "replica." The most recent major production in Spain was the same way, as will be the upcoming Australian production.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
I would assume Valjean will, at the very least. Karimloo has had alternates for both of his previous runs as Valjean (London and Toronto) as well as in Love Never Dies.
"Well, I better postpone my visit to the show and wait Karimloo's depart."
Or you might plan your visit on Ramin's off days. I think he has scheduled off days when his alternate will be on. Such is the case for his West End run, and the current Toronto run too.
