I don't think it was hypocritical they gave it to the Billy boys but not the Matilda girls..

I personally think they realized they made a mistake the first time and are now correcting it. The actors involved have to be a full time lead - not alternates sharing one part.

I also think it should a rule that the actors nominated need to be in at least 6 performances a week to be considered a LEAD. After that you are supporting at best or in some other category the Tony committee needs to invent -

Can we acknowledge how devastating the Best Costume race is going to be? Gregg Barnes deserves it for KINKY BOOTS, but it will likely go to Ivey Long for CINDERELLA...

And he's on the Tony committee...does that mean that he has the capability to nominate/vote for his own shows?
