I wonder if anybody remembered this or even knew about it, but whatever happened to the musical of Jesus Christ that was being told with Britney Spears songs? Just think...the lead wouldn't have to sing a word.  It's Britney songs.  They could lip synch the whole thing!

bumping this because theres new info.

apparently there was a reading in NYC this weekend and britney was in attendance.

Josh Tolle uploaded a video of her being seated to his IG story and said "that time we did a reading of britneys musical and SHE CAME" (pic is in the article)

thoughts? cant be any worse than margaritaville... lol

I think this has the potential to be HUGE. Her songs are fun, the show should be fun. That's all that matters.

Courtney reed was in the reading and also Aisha Jackson (Ana standby in frozen). On Aisha’s instagram story a couple days ago was a picture of her with a Snow white tag on her chest. Assuming this will be a fairytale show. Its also titled once upon a one more time.

Justin Guarini? Gross. Underwhelming AF. At least if Courtney uses the same nasal voice she used in the Aladdin OBC recording it would suit Britney LOL

Her show in Vegas is nothing but a GREAT time - you leave loving her even more, then when you arrived - she gives you everything you want!  I could see this working and being successful.  As long as they include a hair shaving break down scene - I'm in !  HA AH AH AH

If she did go the musical-bio route I'd prefer something self-aware and angry in the vein of I, Tonya or her own "Piece of Me." A fawning hagiography, like On Your Feet, would be a bore.
