Any guesses for what is next for the Broadhurst Theatre?

I mean, there’s probably quite a few possibilities but I think Broadway is more focused on not collapsing due to another COVID wave right now and many producers and investors might not exactly be jumping to book a theatre right now.

I'm not advocating for something to open in the Broadhurst right away, but possibly what might be next in the spring or summer of 2022. Broadway will be back!

This is already going to the Barrymore.
The Broadhurst might not have anything lined up just yet since JLP closed somewhat abruptly.

The Shuberts usually have a line of producers waiting for houses, but a crowded spring season could be disastrous for new shows.
We know there are a number of plays and musicals circling Broadway (Almost Famous, ALW's Cinderella, Kimberly Akimbo, Black No More, Ohio State Murders, Sing Street, Jeffrey Seller's Fly) –– some of which aren't planning to come until next season –– but at this point it's probably just better to wait it out until the world looks better.

I think it would be something special if Cam Mac was able to bring over a limited engagement of the les mis concert.

Perhaps "Paradise Square" will switch its booking to the Broadhurst -- a more desireable house due to its larger number of seats and location on W. 44th Street.

Yeah this was abrupt so can’t imagine we hear anything. But I’d love to see a weekend in March with Kimberly and A Strange Loop playing on Bway!
