Most likely September 24th but if you want to be safe do a Sunday to Monday trip starting the 17th but almost certain it will land on Sunday 11/24.

Looks like the broadway cares website has it marked for October 1st! But there was no official announcement I don't think. So not sure what that means.

I see the silent/live auction items are now listed. Anyone else planning to go on Oct 1st for BCEFA Flea market?

I'll be there! I'm so excited to do this again! I'm seeing two shows the night before and spending the night. Just a quick question, how early should I get there to get access to the good stuff before its gone?

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

The market opens at 10am, but people start lining up to see what's there at around maybe 9:30. Nothing can be bought until everything officially opens though. Also, the quality does not go down later in the day. There are always treasures to be found. Don't think you need to get there obscenely early.

Early if you want something specific that might sell out and the fandom for that show is rabid. Later if you're hoping for good deals. It also depends on the year. Personally, I go for closed show merch.

Last year the Phantom table had sold out of most of the good stuff by 2PM. Phans were shelling out major $$$. That's one booth that if you want to find gems, I'd get there early. If they're doing a booth again, they may not be and have donated their items elsewhere.

How crowded does it get. My flight gets in at 8 that day and I'll probably go. I found some videos online and it mostly seems manageable with people most crowing in behind others at tables instead of lines. I did hear from someone there last year that beetlejuice had a huge line but I dont think a show with that fandom will be there now. Mostly interested in Hadestown and Kimberly Akimbo stuff.

In my experience it could get claustrophobic with a lot of crowding but never felt dangerous. Hadestown will be busy

I'm definitely interested to see the layout of the tables this year. While you can't predict what each organization will bring, there's enough consistency year to year that a good layout can help with crowding.

They just released the table map! I'm a bit confused as to why Dear Evan Hansen is still on the map because it closed over a year ago, but I'm excited to hit up Sweeney Todd and Kimberly Akimbo. I was really hoping Parade or Gutenberg might have a table, but maybe there will be stuff from them either way.

I'm sure that DEAR EVAN HANSEN has tons of stuff leftover from Broadway, the just closed tour and London and wants to get rid of it.  It's all money for BCEFA, -- so where is the harm in letting them have a table?

Oh, I have no complaints, my profile picture is from Dear Evan Hansen. I didn't even consider London/Tours could table there. I'll check it out and see what they've got! I've never seen a show closed for that long have a  table, so I thought it was a mistake.

Last year The New York Theatre Workshop had some RENT-related items.  Has anyone head anything about what they may possibly have at their table this year?

Thanks!

I thought closed shows were at the "Curtain Call" table but if there's a DEH table, good for them for choosing to donate items to a great cause.

I noticed in this year's live auction they have items/experiences for musicals set to open in spring 2024! Normally they only auction off items for this fall season.

I saw there is a trip in the silent auction line. It's a 3-night stay in London, and tickets and a backstage pass to Sondheim's Old Friends as well as tickets to 2 other London shows of your choice. It's like $7k right now. Sadly, I don't have the money for that lol, but whoever wins that, I hope they have the best time!

Yup I see the bid is for $7200 right now and they moved it from silent auction to the live auction:

Very generous of United Airlines to sponsor that experience package!

If only I could win the lottery tomorrow, I would bid on it and do what I can to win it, LOL! Whoever does end up winning it, that money goes towards a good cause! As for the flight, I was surprised as well that United was offering Business class seats.
