If the revival of Sweet Charity is considered a flop, then I would include that as one I enjoyed. Especially when I saw it a 2nd time, I thought Christina Applegate was MUCH improved.

Dance of the Vampires - Campy to the extreme and light years beyond silly, but the cast was terrifically exuberant and it was never, ever dull.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - See above.

Only musicals are invited? My favorite 'flop' was David Hirson's "Wrong Mountain". (I liked "La Bete" too.)

I personally loved "Footloose." Even though it ran for roughly two years, people say it was a flop -- whether or not, I think it's fantastic.

I liked Taboo. I put off seeing it for most of the run, but just before it closed, I managed to snag a deeply discounted ticket from someone on the boards here. Sure it was flawed, but I had a good time. The music was catchy, and there were some great performances. I went back and second acted it a couple times to hear Raul's "Petrified" again. He was pretty damn fierce.

I wish I hadn't put of seeing Caroline, or Change. We were supposed to see it with Honors at The Public, so I didn't bother seeing it there (then, of course that didn't pan out). Then, I didn't get to see it on Broadway until its final weeks and I got a really ratty student ticket. It was way on the side and there was a freakishly tall guy in front of me. As a result, I couldn't see a DAMN thing. re: Broadway Flops you enjoyed. But, from what I did see, what an outrage that Tonya lost the Tony to Idina Menzel. It's just wrong.

Lestat- Again, SF prod. Died in the first half...but I liked it overall.

My apologies to frontrowcentre2. Even though roughly 47 people replied to this, I should've apparently ressurected old posts.

Anyway, I really enjoyed:
Seussical, Footloose, Brooklyn!!, All Shook Up, The Sweet Chariy Revival

I REALLY WANTED to see (But Closed before I could)
IN MY LIFE! (I still look at the website), Lennon, Good Vibrations, Lestat (even though I would've fallen asleep),

I dunno, for some reason, I enjoy the flops that get negative reviews. They make me want to see them so bad and I end up really liking them!
