Lord of the Dance is doing terrible, very good start for School of Rock and the Color Purple.

I feel bad for dames just because I want Lesli to succeed.

Good bump for Allegiance. Still probably not meeting its nut (?) but nothing to sneeze at.

Well it's not quite tourist season, which maybe would explain Lord of the Dance. And the slightly underwhelming week all around.

I had wanted to see Dames at Sea last Wednesday night, but when I got to the TKTS booth after the matinee of Hamilton, it was no longer available.

You should have just gone to the box office! It was not full at all. (I was there on Wednesday evening) In fact, anyone who had a mezz seat had their seats changed to orchestra.
It wasn't a good sign for the longevity of the show. Hope you get to see it though, because it is tap-happy fun.

DAMES should have played off-Broadway. There's no way it stays open past New Year's.

Does the show have any signs like that?!

Loliveve, thanks, but I live in DC. If Dames is still around in January, I'll see it the weekend I have tickets for Hamilton (again).

^Was it your first time seeing Hamilton? I would love to hear some more reviews about the show! (Maybe they're in the Obsessives Thread, which I don't want to open until I've seen the show)

Yes, it was my first time seeing Hamilton. I avoided most threads about the show until I saw it because I wanted to go in with an open mind. I liked it a lot, but I like it even more now that I have the cast recording.
