Newsies continues to play strongly even with only 7 performances. I can see it becoming an open run once the reveiws are in, it'll definetly break Rent's record as the highest grossing show at the Nederlander.
Magic/Bird only made $127,931 in 7 performances? Oy. That's not going to last very long.
Newsies playing to 100% attendance this week! That's amazing.
I'm rooting for GHOST to continue to do well. Hopefully positive word of mouth will continue to increase attendance for the show.
Ok, I'll be the one who asks...
What is with the 110.4% for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR???
Maybe they played eight performances and there are only seven listed.

^^yet it grossed 1.8 million. there's clearly some errors in this weeks grosses.
Very pleased with the numbers for Once!! Sister Act did good considering no Patina and Raven doesn't start until this week.
0 also for Venus in Fur and War Horse. I am assuming Jesus Christ Superstar is also a mistake ay 110.4%?
Unless they're not counting opening night(which they always do), JSC played 8 shows that week.

re: JCS - It might have been a 7 show week because of a change in their schedule? They were dark yesterday and are dark again today, however, next Sunday they have a performance at 3.
The grosses reported at Playbill's site have the correct capacity %'s for Wicked, War Horse, and Venus in Fur, but are still reporting over 110% capacity for JCS so if it's an error, it doesn't appear to be a Broadwayworld error.

FYI - We received a revision to the grosses changing JCS to an 8 performance week, the chart is now updated.

Glad to see Once's numbers growing I wish it well!
Looks like Ricky Martin, not Jeremy Jordan is the King of New York. EVITA's gross is unheard of for a show in previews.

The Nederlander has about 400 seats less than the Marquis so the gross potential is lower. I'm sure Nederlander are very happy with how Evita and Newsies are doing given that neither the Marquis and Nederlander have had a hit show in a while.
