Another great week
Those are great numbers overall!!
IN THE HEIGHTS is doing much better than most people anticipated when it announced the transfer. I hope it keeps doing steady business.
Congrats to PASSING STRANGE for the steady increase, to CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF for doing sell-out business, and to A CATERED AFFAIR for starting with pretty strong numbers.
So happy to see CURTAINS doing so well, how sad that the show won't be open for much longer.
Unfortunately, we won't see the effect of GYPSY's raves until next week's grosses.
Overall, a great week...unless you're producing THE HOMECOMING.
CURTAINS!
DAMN!
Good week overall - glad to see it picking up.
Congratulations to Seafarer, for seating 80.5% their last week!
Fantastic week !!! Now I am glad that i bought all my tickets in advance, looks like demand is huge, which makes me happy for Broadway !!!
GMF, most of those tickets are sold on TKTS (with the exception of the hits), but at least you won't have to wait on line while you're in town.
And I also know where I'll sit and I am sitting GOOD, baby !!!
Wow, great numbers!
Way to go PASSING STRANGE!
It's kind of unfortunate, however, that THE HOMECOMING isn't doing better business. It's the only show doing poorly right now.
Spring break does wonders for Broadway.
PS at 80.7% is awesomeeee
The Homecoming went up to 38.2% from 37.2%. I saw it last week. Some great performances, but the play itself is not for everybody.

Another great week for A Chorus Line. The 4 weekend shows were completely sold-out(including standing room)!!!
Disney must love spring break. 2nd straight week their 3 shows were in the top 5 for grosses and all made over $1 million.
Nice to see Xanadu, In The Heights, South Pacific & SITPWG doing so well.
When does spring break end ? Or did it end already ?
I think this past week was probably the last of the Spring Breaks.
Greek,
Spring break occurrs at different times around the country. Generally, students get a week off, but different schools and colleges hold them at different times. For example, I have a little brother who was off a month ago, but others are just beginning spring break now.
Thank you ! Hmmm, good for me (less crowds), Bad for Broadway (less crowds)
It's good to see Xanadu continuing to do well. Some on here have been sounding the death nell for awhile. Looks like it's here to stay!

This week is my spring break! =)
I saw three shows last week... and they all went down! Maybe I am just rotten luck.
Great week overall, with the exception of THE HOMECOMING.
I'm very happy, especially for A CHORUS LINE.
I know that at least in Miami, public schools are currently on Spring Break. I imagine it ends either this week or next week for most people.
But I guess from what I read, that the majority of schools already had it, so there won't be a "big wave" visiting NYC, making everything crammed, am I right ?
Things are generally crammed here all the time, but I think the crowds will start to tone down (thankfully)
Thing is, right around the time Spring Break ends for high schools, a few weeks later is the end of the semester for a lot of college students. I believe that as soon as things start to "tone down," they pick up again in two or three weeks.
