Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 4/24

"I don't think it is a question of willing if those are the only options offered. $300 a pop for the only tickets available is a little different than actively choosing to pay more to get a better seat."

Your post makes it sound like you think everyone has a right to a ticket or something.

People absolutely have a choice. They can actively choose to pay the $300 a pop OR they can choose to wait and see the show later. Or not see the show at all. Lots of choices available. BoM is a great show, but it's not going to kill anyone to miss it.

I never thought I'd stick out for Wicked, but Wicked is 1000x times better than The Lion King. I prefer to see Wicked on top.

"These grosses don't surprise me at all. Could barely walk through the countless crowds of people this week!"

It was insane. My friend said he couldn't get tickets to a lot of shows that guests were requesting.

Totally agree, Ripped. Saw it in previews for $60 a ticket. Worth every penny and more. But not $300 bucks, no way.
