I'm so happy for American Psycho! It's been on the rise recently and I hope it keeps rising!

Congrats to Phantom! 28 years later, it can still break the million dollar mark.

Waitress continues to be a beast - incredibly consistent numbers week in and week out.

WOM has to help - I had 4 girlfriends who recently saw it along with multiple other new shows and proclaimed it their favorite.

American Psycho is rising steady each week and maintaining. Happy for them.

I'm feeling pretty mixed about Phantom, especially after such a long run. I saw it last Thursday, since it was the only show offering Thursday matinees, and was not very impressed. I sat in the center of front row mezzanine, and my goodness the mezzanine of Majestic is like literally IN THE SKY. Basically the view from my seat was like the rear mezz of Brooks Atkinson, and mind you it has one of the HUGEST mezzanine overhangs in Broadway theaters (the mezz even has more seats than the orch). Performance-wise, the actors were tired and uninspired at best, and many times they didn't even bother to sing out. Many first-timers and tourists were cheering and hollering during the curtain call, but after that I left the theater with a sour taste in the mouth (I did clap through, just fyi). Luckily, I saw The King and I with Mazzie that night and was totally blown away.
