The Addams Family will be gone by the end of the summer. The gross just keeps on dropping and dropping.
Should be interesting next week to see what Spider-Man reports for it's first week back.

I am also happy about that.

#6Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/8
Posted: 5/9/11 at 3:52pmWhat discounted tickets? Good luck finding them. I doubt they exist. The discounted seats on Broadway box are $70 and $90, so that's hardly a discount.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 5:34pmI don't think they will kill the BENGAL TIGER (get it?) because of low attendance. It'll probably finish it's run...especially with mild Tony buzz.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 6:23pmI would say Bengal Tiger's Tony buzz is pretty nonexistent.

Glad the fact they didn't get a Best Musical nomination isn't slowing Priscilla down.
Happy to see the Jerusalem grosses are up!

Posted: 5/9/11 at 9:31pmI wondered that also about Memphis. My guess is they must be getting pretty close if their nut is around 600K. It hasn't been a blockbuster but they are always well in the black.

I feel so bad for ADDAMS FAMILY
The only good thing about it is that Brooke Shields probably won't get a chance to actually take over as Morticia.

Posted: 5/10/11 at 3:21amI wonder what the weekly nut for a show like Adams Family or Memphis is. Anyone know?

I don't get it... can you explain it? Because if you're saying... oh... oh wait... KILLED... I see what you did there. *end sarcasm*
Anyway, I don't know what Tony buzz you are referring to. Bengal Tiger was not nominated for Best Play or it's famous Leading Actor. I don't see how you could say that it has Tony buzz from a no-name featured actor (though wonderful), the sound design, and the lighting design.
