Again impressed with "Finding Neverland."

For what it's worth, it seemed like a good crowd for The Visit on Sat June 6th. Getting ready to see my final show..."Chicago" with Terra C as Velma.

Looks like the sex is finally coming off the heel. Jersey Boys is dipping big time too.

"One thing I'm not quite understanding. If FUN HOME has a higher average ticket price and a higher top ticket price than AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, how is the Gross % Potential for PARIS higher than FUN HOME?
I know the Palace has over double the seating capacity of Circle, but would that have this kind of effect on Gross % Potential? "

Yep. They are clearing 350 seats a night at under $50 in the balcony, that pulls it down. The fact that they are going clean up there speaks volumes.

How much longer do Gentleman's Guide, Kinky Boots and Matilda have? Matilda seems to be doing average gross potential but it's capacity numbers are much better. GG probably won't last the year out I'm guessing. KB isn't holding up great either.

It will be interesting to see how sales settle out once The Visit, On The Town, Gigi and It Should'a depart. That's close to $1.3M in total sales that may or may not have gone to other shows.

I am not suprised to see that Gigi is having difficulty filling seats, from the dismal reviews of the shows 'altered' verision of the original story, to the less than positive critical response to Vanessa Hudgens performace. Honestly, I did not foresee a long run for Gigi. So I am anticipating a closing notice any day now?

The question is does the cast know that the show is in such trouble and why aren't they doing something about it? IE Public apperances, social media, Q & A online etc?

Hudgens has been fairly ubiquitous. But the ticket buyers aren't in her target demographic (and don't likely watch the TV shows where she plugs away). Who among her fans has $126 - $150 to spend, or even $80, on a GIGI seat? Not GREASE, GIGI. Who has a passing familiarity with let alone interest in GIGI? I mean, 1200 people 8 times a week wise. Who was the supposed base to support this show? I am not discussing the critical response or artistry; what was the cold, light-of-day commercial calculation here? The gap between the star's media profile and the role's is canyon-like; mom and grandma (and okay, Uncle Fred and Cousin Billy) like the film, but don't need to see it reinterpreted by a millennial tv star.

Truth be told, I forget Gigi is even running. And if I forget, I'm sure non-theater fanatics aren't even aware it's playing.

ISHBY has to be thinking of touring. Small show & cast and has to be very economical to run

If so, wonder why they have not done a cast album as it would be a good selling point.
