Would seem odd for CFA to go thru January and February just to close in the next month or two.

I can’t remember which articles it appeared in but I remember they said CFA running costs were around 450k -500k per week. I’m sure it’s gone up slightly with more swings being added because of covid but can’t imagine they are anywhere close to bleeding money. They will survive at least through the summer

It’ll be interesting to see if ticket sales increase for DEH and CFA in April when a lot of schools are on vacation.

Demand will (hopefully) be substantially increasing over the next couple of months as we get into Spring Break Part 2 and then Summer, but supply is also rapidly increasing. We just have to hope that demand is increasing enough that people will be driven to older shows that aren't yet classics. I'm definitely rooting for them!

CFA's attendance increased quite a bit last week due to Spring break. However, the show is still not doing anywhere near as well as pre-pandemic, when it was practically sold out for every performance. Unlike many other shows, they had insurance which covered the pandemic, plus the government money they received. They will run this show into the ground before they close it.

Care to explain that statement?

I only ask because in all of my years I have only met a very few people who were that nuts. And when I look at who has their hand on this particular steering wheel, I don't see a lot of candidates for that. So curious.

Any idea why Moulin Rouge wasn't part of this week? They were listed last week, I believe.

$1,406,497.80

It is in the Playbill link I posted.

BWW might be slow in aggregating the info provided to them from the League (everyone pulls from the same source). When in doubt, go by the League site directly.
