"
Im sorry for everything I've said
And for anything I forgot to say too
When things get so complicated
I stumble at best muddle through
I wish that our lives could be simple
I don't want the world only you
Oh I wish I could tell you this face to face
But theres never the time never the place
So this letter will have to do
I love you"
-Aida, Radames' Letter
Yup, my life in a nutshell.

Two come to mind- "Don't Dream It, Be It" (Rocky Horror) and "Open a New Window" (oops, forgot whether that was Gypsy or Mame).

I wish I could say it was "We're in the Money" (42nd Street), but it's more like "Without Love" (Hairspray) lol.

Probably "Better" from Little Women except for the fact that I don't write stories lol. Or "It Sucks To Be Me" from Avenue Q.

"I can dance a tango,
I can read Greek- Easy.
I can slay a dragon
Any old week- Easy.
What's hard is simple.
What's natural comes hard.
Maybe you could show me
How to let go,
Lower my guard,
Learn to be free.
Maybe if you whistle,
Whistle for me."

Hey! I'm new here (although I've been lurking here for a while.) I know I'll probably be killed for saying this one, but i find minus the whole flying part, defying gravity from wicked really describes my life. So does the Mimi part of another day from Rent. ( Don't worry, I will try to make the rent and wicked posts rare)

See, I really couldn't sing.
I could never really sing.
What I couldn't do was SING!
I could never really sing.
What I couldn't do was SING!

"I'm Not Afraid of Anything" from Songs for a New World...
Except, I think I'm David...
(I'll try to come up with a better one to fit what I mean)

It sounds really stupid, but "Defying Gravity". People have been telling me lately that I'll never make it to broadway, change your major to a teaching degree, etc. I just feel like telling them not to "Bring Me Dooooowwwwwnnnnn!"
lol
lol
As someone told me lately: "Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!"...
He's there, the Phantom of the Opera!...
I dreamed a dream in time gone bye...
This is the moment! My final test!...
PS. Couldn't choose just one :-)

ditto. I'm sorry if I sound pathetic, but it happened. Still, I'm fairly young...
it could end up being...
For Now? (Avenue Q)

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"
