I would love to meet Sondheim and have him autograph my original Follies Playbill.
I met Sondheim at a cocktail party last year in Austin, TX but he wasn't autographing anything obviously, and he refused to take pics with people
But I did snap a few sneaky pics of him on my cell phone. lol.
I met him last week, and he signed my copy of Finishing The Hat.
Mine would probably be having dinner with Angela Lansbury :)
I would love to have Carol Channing autograph my new ornament in her likeness as Dolly Levi.

I would love to go backstage to any show, especially Wicked and would love to be able to talk with Kristin Chenoweth for more than 2 minutes.
I would love to have an opening night in a new musical and win a Tony for my performance.
Or, I would like to produce a musical...and win a Tony for it.
Wow, HopeChanged, that's a good one :) I love Story of My Life! Never saw the show but that's an amazing song.
Mine would be...to live in New York City and see shows all the time. That's it. to just be surrounded by the amazingness. To not live in a city that NEVER gets shows (except the occasional relapse...I'm seeing Mamma Mia in a month!). I would love to just see stars on the street and smile at them, normal people doing normal things. I've rarely been happier then the times I spent in that city, and it pains me to live so far away.

I wish I could play Dolly Gallagher Levi, with Alec Baldwin as my Horace.

I want to know where I can get that Dolly Levi Christmas Ornament!
I want Kelli O'Hara to play Eliza in a revival of My Fair Lady and I also want to understudy her in the role.
^ A "roll"? Is that like a dinner roll? Or more like a log roll?
Wow. Role. I should really learn to proof my freaking posts

Thanks, I'mNOTthatGIRL72. I didn't see "The Story of My Life" either as I only learned of it recently. But I bought the CD, which is wonderful. By the way, I completely relate to everything you wrote in your post. I just got back from NYC, where I saw "Next to Normal" and I have not felt so happy and alive in I don't know how long. To see that incredible show, be in Times Square, feel NYC's energy, get sushi without having to drive 45 minutes
-- the whole thing. Cannot wait to return.

to me, would most definitely be going back in time, at least 25 years, to be able to play Elphaba..the avatar is a photo of a halloween play we out together with some old (and not so old) stage friends fir my daughter's school as a benefit event, but would LOVE to play it in either West End, Broadway, or any of my home time cities (Brazil & Argentina)
as meeting someone/playing with, it ll have to be Idina & Chenowetz.
Wicked impressed me that much as a musical...I had not seen something that I loved so much in a good few years...
I wish that the revival of Ragtime was still playing.
I wish Tovah Feldshuh had received the recognition she deserved for Irena's Vow.
I wish I could go back in time to see Lansbury in Mame.
I wish I could go back in time to see Rosalind Russell in Auntie Mame and Wonderful Town.

Oooh this is tough. I would say to do a show with David Hyde Pierce.
I wish that I could be best friends with Bernadette Peters.
I also wish I could sing well.

I want to win a Tony Award. For anything. Doesn't matter. =)
I want to be able to live off of an acting career without a side job.
