re: Broadway.com's First Look at YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

Shuler looks awful. With the logo they're using, you would think the Monster might look, ya know, green.

The rest of the cast looks great though.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

ha. I just posted this on another YF thread, but anyway, I'm super excited. I agree that he's not green enough, but everyone else looks HOT! Sutton makes a good blonde.

Does anyone else think Sutton looks like Nellie McKay in the blonde wig?

I wish the monster looked less...um...bad prosthetics and more green and dead-ish.

re: Broadway.com's First Look at YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

I am loving Sutton as a blonde very very much- I'd like to see her blonde more often, haha

And Shuler is yeah...not green enough, and the hair looks weird.

But yeah, I'm just about to go watch the YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN movie for the first time...so yeah, thank you Netflix :)

re: Broadway.com's First Look at YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

Am I the only one who doesn't like Megan Mullally's costume in the "Don't Touch Me" number?

I would think Elizabeth would dress a bit more practical and a bit less "cocktail hour" to see Frederick off at a sea port. I know she's a rich socialite, but still-- at least put a jacket on her or something.

They could have still dressed the character in something just as stylish that was travel feasible (like the hat and skirt number Madeline Kahn wore in the film.)

Just an observation...
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Wow, I'm just going to echo everyone and say Megan and Sutton look awesome.
One time, Patti LuPone punched me in the face...

It was awesome.

Yeah, Sutton looked amazing! As did Megan, everyone else looked good too! Except, as already pointed out The monster's makeup...

Am I the only one who just wants to run their fingers through Bart's hair? It's so...poofy and smooth looking. Er, anyway...

Edit: I agree that The Monster does not look right. And when I say "right" I mean as right as a monster could possibly be.

re: Broadway.com's First Look at YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

i think Sutton looks awkward as a blonde

EDIT: I think maybe it is the style more so then the color.
