all of the actors (mickey dolenz and joey fatone included) were very nice about signing autographs. im glad they didnt have gates up so i was able to corner all of them....

it was amazing today! i'll write more about it later. would just like to restate once more though how much i love john tartaglia!

I was kidding :) I thought it was accepted that I'm one of Cheyenne's biggest supporters...I think he's one of the most beautiful and talented guys out there...

I am almost certain that I have great pics. Was up close, but took with regular camera. Have to get them developed tomorrow, and I will scan and post. (with wife's help... I am 'puter challenged)

I posted a message over in the Bryant Parks pics thread, but I'll repost :)

We got there around 10 am..lucky enough to get seats right in the front, towards the left of the stage. MANNNN it was hot. Ridiculously hot. Especially when you're there 2.5 hours before the show started.

Soundchecks were greeeat :) Absolutely hysterical to see the Ave Q people without their puppets, and the LSOH puppeteer doing his choreography without the plant. He rocks! Also impressed that LSOH actually *performed* for the soundcheck, I wasn't expecting that.

Okay, Wicked-

you could tell a majority of the crowd was there for Wicked. Huge applause. I was sitting next to a bunch of Eden groupies...any of them from here? Pink and green outfits with stickers and walked back and forth to her a few times? Anyway...she was good. I really wasn't that impressed, though Wizard and I was good. Didn't like her in FG or ALAYM. Melissa Fahn was embarassing. She was really, really, really bad. Derrick Williams is a cuuuuutie. Didn't REALLY like his voice, but he'll do :)
Yay Wicked! It seemed it went by reallyy fast.

AIDA-

I knew nothing about this show. Loved Mickey Dolenz and Cheyenne Jackson (HOT!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HOT!). Like Father Like Son was reallyyy cute. I liked TaRea Campbell too. Didnt really like Jessica Handy but I dont know how her character is supposed to be, so oh well :)

AVE Q-

Wow I lovedddd them. I can't wait to see this show, that cast is ADORABLE and they look like they're having so much fun. THe songs are greattt. Got a picture with John Tartaglia after, he is sooo sweet.

LSOH-

They're incredible. I dont know why the shows closing. I just saw them last week so I wasnt really thrilled to see them again so soon but from the minute they got onstage they changed my mind. They were GREAT, another cast that looked like they were having such a good time. Urchins = amazing, Joey and Snow are adorable, Rob Evan is great :)

Despite starting late, and 90 degree heat, it was a great time! Glad I went!

Me too. But just on my face and in the part I had on my hair (hate when that happens - it can hurt when you brush or style your hair!).

Hey guys. I was there. I was sad to see a lot of understudies, but it was still really nice. Such a beautiful day outside too!

I though Avenue Q was amazing, they always put on a great show! I also thought Joey Fatone was good at Seymore, I might go see him in it now.

I also saw Wicked tonite, I'll post in another thread about that, but it was fabulous as usual.

I will post my pics somewhere, I just have to find a place, and then give you all a link to it.

I was there and I gotta tell ya....Wicked and Ave Q got the most cheers. More people stood up at the end of Wicked than any other. I absolutely LOVED Eden.. She was fantastic.. I loved that she was acting and not just singing like the others from Aida..Her facial exressions, her hand movements, her kiss to her Fiyero stand in, her hug to the Glinda girl, they held hands....awwwwww.. I LOVED IT...

When I was leaving I went up to her and she was surrounded by teenage girls signing autographs and I said... I so enjoyed your performance here and I can't wait for Brooklyn... She got the biggest smile and looked at me and said.. Thank you very much.

TLSH girls were AMAZING.. I loved them.. and Joey was soooooo good.. I almost want to run see the show now.. He TOO was acting and not just singing...He acted more than the co star when they sang suddenly seymour... He was in character and she was just singing although she sounded fantasic. So much fun to see it.

Ave Q - made me laugh but I didn't know whether to watch the puppets or the actors

Aida - Didn't like much of the songs at all...
