ex-Les Miser/Urinetowner/Pajama Gamer ... haha.
Umm, my guess is Cahoon's sick since he cancelled his gig on Monday and was out of the show yesterday. I don't think he's ever been to one of the WS softball games.

Posted: 7/27/06 at 10:43pmKevin Kern was definitely there. I think he was dancing for David Josefsberg track, since he was not there (on stage, anyway, almost positive I saw him lurking around). Is it just me or is Kevin Kern really hot?

Posted: 7/27/06 at 10:46pmKevin was dancing in Eric LaJuan Summers' track since Eric was filling in for Kevin Cahoon, I believe. I don't know who was dancing in Joberg's track, but yeah, he was lurking around. Apparently he injured himself... don't know how, though!

Posted: 7/27/06 at 10:48pmCara was at the performance at Bryant Park, but right after they performed "Wedding Day," she darted out of there. So I assume she went right to the softball game.

A lot of them apparently just darted away after the performance, so I'm assuming they all went to the game, yeah.
Speaking of, who were they playing and did they win? LOL

Posted: 7/27/06 at 10:56pmStephen left right away. Amy and a few of the ensemble members stuck around to watch the show. Tina met up with other people (her husband, I'm assuming) and stayed for a little bit talking to random fans.

Beauty was on the calendar for today. I hope it is on next week.
My Niece loves the music.

Posted: 7/28/06 at 8:47amThanks for the info. You did a better job than the host, Valerie Smaldone. She never revealed the names of the cast members of "Hairspray" nor did she tell the selection titles from "Rent". I was unsure of the titles of "I'll Cover You" and "Out Tonight". Anyway, the show was great. "The Wedding Singer" ensemble did a really great job in all that heat and humidity. I enjoyed the other shows, too. Haven Burton from "Rent" happened to sit next to me to watch the other performances and she signed an autograph. It is so pleasing to see most cast members watching the other performances; they are truly professionals. This concert was one of the best! Everybody seemed to enjoy.

In answer to the question about Antonique, she mentioned she was nursing her knee injury and hoped to be back Monday I believe.
I was also pissed that Valerie didn't introduce the Hairspray cast. It may have been the heat, but I didn't even realize that was Darlene Love til much later.. LOL! What an amazing voice! Valerie may have had the wrong info on her card, but she also read a few names for RENT that were not present like Tim Howart.
All in all, it was one of the most exciting and energetic shows Bryant Park has had!
Now that I have sat and watched the dvd footage I recorded I realize how lucky we are to be New Yorkers and get to enjoy these free events! Thnaks to all who make it happen!

This show was amazing. I thought last week would be the best for me, but damn every show was spot on. I was so excited to see all of the shows. The Wedding Singer did such a good job. I really dont understand why so many people dont like the show because i loved it and even in this stripped down setting yesterday the still did awesome.
Hairspray..god how I love hairspray lol. Hailey duff did a good job. she's alot prettier in person. and tevin cambell...finally something I like him in hahahah.
and that little girl that sang in "Run tell that" is awsome
Tarzan: I really only wanted to see it for Merle Dandridge..but damn it was soo god. i have to admit I never liked the guy that plays Tarzan. I just didnt buy him as manly at all...still dont. but he sang really god. and Chester Gregory is awesome. I've always just thought he was so cool lol. and he has really nice lips haah..i mean what.
Rent. ANTONIQUE BRUNG THE HOUSE..ERR..THE LAWN DOWN.
Ans she remembered me when i saw her after the show which was nice. and Robin is so cute lol. I love him and I've wanted to hear him as angel for a while. Nicole was...not impressive at all. but maybe it's because she just joined the show and her voice is kinda tired from not getting a break.
But yesterdays show made me very sad that I dont have a well paying job so that i can go see these shows again..and again..

Corine, Beauty and the Beast was scheduled to perform two weeks ago, and I'm pretty sure they did.

I only took pictures of a couple of numbers (WS"It's Your Wedding Day" and Hairspray's "Mamma I'm A Big Girl Now") but I figured I'd post a few of those since people keep asking.

David Josefsberg didn't perform because he injured himself this week, and since David couldn't perform, there was really no need for Felicia to be there to perform, you know? :) Though she probably was at softball, LOL.
Great pictures! Those guys have some of the most amusing facial expressions during this song.

In answering thespiangeek's question:
Wedding Singer's softball team played Blue Man Group at 1:30 Thursday pretty much directly after the Bryant Park performance.
Singer beat the blue off of 'em, 5 to 1. =)
