Posted: 6/10/06 at 3:30pmThere are numeous performers from NC or that have studied in NC (Terrence Mann, Billy Crudup, Mary Louise Parker, etc). One is particular who was here in Charlotte was Patrick Wilson. He lived here as a child and his dad was a news anchor on one of the local stations. Grasan Kingsberry who is in TCP graduated from the high school that my wife teaches at.

I'm from KY...hmm...
Rebecca Gayheart (Steel Magnolias) is from Pinetop, which isn't far from my house.
Laura Bell Bundy is from Lexington (or Louisville), and that's 3 hours away.
...All I can think of. My friend got a walk-on role in Wicked though through BC/EFA (I dunno HOW,but it's cool).
Michael Cerveris, Paige Davis, and Randy Jones all worked for a season or two at Jenny Wiley Theatre in Prestonsburg, which is where I've worked for 7 seasons. (Not saying they're FROM KY, just WORKED there.)
(And I've edited this 3 effing times. Grr. Why am I stupid and can't type stuff?)

Posted: 6/10/06 at 3:51pmJennie Powers (Little Women) went to my high school. She is much older than me, but I went to school with her sister. From what I have heard from teachers who went to school with her, Jennie was quite the little diva.
