There seems to be a ton of performers from Ohio on Broadway. Gavin Creel, Michael Cavenaugh, Jennifer Gambatese, Michelle Federer, David Ayers, Jessica Grove, etc. It gives me hope!
What performers are from your area?

John Tartaglia grew up in Maple Shade NJ and went to the same HS my friend went to.
And Barrett Foa grew up in Manhattan.
And Theodore Bikel (the first Tevye on Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof) was born in 1924 in Austria and moved to Palestine (which is now Israel) at age 13. I will stop there because you can find tons of sites on him. I only know this because my parents are good friends with him. In fact, he was over our house for dinner...I think it was in late December.

Jodi Benson is from my hometown Rockford, Il.
She's part of what they call the Rockford 5 (people from the same time period from Rockford that all have done stuff on Broadway) which I believe includes my dance teacher Cindy-who knows Jodi. I'm like obsessed w/ Jodi and TLM and CFY so i need to ask her about this....lol
