the Callaways (liz & ann) are from chicago. i grew up in st. louis and while there are many b'way lights from there over the years i will say that kevin kline went to the catholic boys school that was the "brother" school of my catholic girls school. and ellen foley graduated many many years ahead of me -- but people say i remind them of her.
I believe that Sutton and Hunter are originally from Georgia and later moved to Michigan. If my memory serves me correctly their family now lives in Memphis, TN (I won't swear by it but I believe I read that somewhere in an interview with Sutton.).
Rebecca Luker is from Helena, AL (same as Bo Bice)
Hey Shuq, I know you posted it like a year ago, but I'm from Kentucky (Louisville) and both Paige Davis and Sara Gettelfinger are from here. Aside from other really famous people (Nicole Somethingorother who is the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Rosemary Clooney...)
"Who says you can't bend over backwards and eat bugs if you want to? I guess the bugs would probably say you can't do that that, but assuming that they are willing and consenting bugs, then there's no problem. Let's wig out eating bugs."

Andrew Rannells (the current Link in Hairpsray) went to my rival high school back in Omaha, NE. And also Johnathan Rayson from Little Shop of Horrors (Hunter's u/s and the tour Seymore) is from Omaha.
"There seems to be a ton of performers from Ohio on Broadway. Gavin Creel, Michael Cavenaugh, Jennifer Gambatese, Michelle Federer, David Ayers, Jessica Grove, etc. It gives me hope!"
Billy Porter is from Pittsburgh and went to the creative and performing arts high school as a musical theatre major. I'm at the same school as a musical theatre major so it's nice to see an alumni actually go on and actually perform since half of our school doesn't even go on and make a living off of there major in high school.
Joe Mantello and Marin Mazzie went to HS together to be exact. Along with someone else big, but I can't remember off the top of my head. Something was in the water in Rockford.
You can also add Celia Keenan-Bolger (SP?) to the Michigan list.
Rachael York went to a near-by High School.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
Rob Sapp is from Cleveland, Ohio. I know people who went to school with him. Also, Vlad -- From Camp ... Daniel Letterle, who's done some professional work, is from where I grew up as well. I went to school in his hometown for a while and saw him in Bye, Bye, Birdie at his HS. Now I see relatives of his all the time because I work with everyone and their mother in Cleveland. (A grocery store)
My aunt, Marion Herson, also from Ihaca, NY, was in Lady Do, Rain or Shine, Privelage Car, The Little Show, Jonica, Fine and Dandy, Take a Chance, Saluta, and Babes in Arms. And, yes, she's alive and well and living in Florida now
Kevyn Morrow (sp?) is from Omaha also and was C.C. in the revival of Dreamgirls, in the ensemble of Scarlet Pimpernel and did some other things. He's back home this summer doing a production of Ragtime as Coalhouse, which he did in London a few years back.
Joey Fatone went to my HS in Orlando (graduated a few years before I came in) and dated a friend of mine. Wayne Brady (okay...doesn't really count) also went to my HS. Mandy Moore (also doesn't count) is from Orlando and was in a program at the Civic Center w/ a friend of mine.
oh--and this totally doesn't count, but if u saw Date Movie, I went to school with Jello. She graduated a year ahead of me.
More Long Islanders Not a performer, but Stephen Shwartz went to my rival high school. (Mineola) Idina Menzel(not sure if someone already posted this) (Syosset) Non Broadwayers Mariah Carrey (Massapequa) Kevin Covais, from American Idol (Levittown)
Shoshana Bean is from Portland! Which isn't exactly my hometown but pretty close, and then there's Reid Shelton(Daddy Warbucks in the OBC of Annie) who is from Salem, and then David Larsen is from Portland as well. So YAY for Oregon!
