I don't want the names like Liza, Barbra, Julie or even Patti. I want names like Christine [Andreas], Kristin [Chenoweth], Idina, Susan [Egan] and Michael [Crawford]. Anyone know of any others and the names of their albums?

Alice Ripley, Matt Bogart, Michael Cerveris, Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp - all of have solo albums.

Not only does Michael Ball have a dozen solo albums but he has sang songs from several musical genres. His newly released one called MUSIC covers songs which are pop classics.

My favourites are of course from his musical theatre repertoire ( two albums called THE MUSICALS and CENTRE STAGE).

Jeremy Kushnier just released his second album. Its self-titled and a top seller on CDBaby. And he definately should have a record contract.

Elaine Paige ( who appeared in SUNSET BOULEVARD and a production of SWEENEY TODD in New York) has several albums.

My favourite recording of hers is Michel LeGrand's WINDMILLS OF YOUR MIND.

I don't know WHY Stokes has not recorded a solo album yet!! His website mentioned a solo album as long ago as two years! He has recorded cast and concert albums for so many labels--I just can't imagine that he can't get a contract for a solo effort.

Idina has Still I Can't Be Still and Here along with a new album produced by Warner Bros Records coming out Fall 2006.

and there are Renters Karmine Alers and Matt Caplan with albums out. Check them out at karminealers.com, mattcaplan.com, airgomusic.com Matt is also coming out with a new album sometime in 2006.

Cary Shields is also debuting an album rumor has it that its coming out in Feb 2006. check out airgomusic.com and caryshields.com for more info.
