Alrighty then
They should leave off the 's' - Foxwood is a lot easier to say than Foxwoods.
The exterior marquis and light boxes along 43rd street are actually damaged so hopefully this will prompt some exterior repairs.
So, Spider-Man will supposedly play at the Foxwoods Theatre, then?
Hmm. Interesting. If they are renaming they will need a new marquis and some front of house remodeling.

And here I thought The Hilton was a stupid name...

It could have been worse. How about the La Quinta? or Super 8?
That's icky.
This makes it sound like 42nd street is turning into the Atlantic City Boardwalk

Fut the wuck????
What's next...The MGM Grand?
Seriously...my partner and I go to the Foxwoods Casino a couple times a year, but to have a Broadway theatre named for it or the Foxwoods organization? Puts my already tender tummy over the edge.
The Foxwoods Casino isn't in AC...but in CT on Native American grounds.

Mohegan Sun would have been much more awesome! ha
Feel free to throw in millions of dollars and name that theatre on your accord.
BEGGARS CAN'T BE CHOOSERS.
Very apropos, a number of people are betting millions there and will probably lose!

"The sponsorship also provides Foxwoods with access to the venue for corporate and philanthropic events and tickets to performances at the theater, most notably to SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, one of the most anticipated Broadway openings of all time."
Really? I mean, really? I don't know very many people who are excited about this show. And other than the threads on this board, it isn't much-discussed in the industry, either.
This means one thing and one thing only...
Whoever said that SPIDER-MAN would never open at the Hilton was right all along...
SNAFU "Very apropos, a number of people are betting millions there and will probably lose!" ha!! Hilarious.
SNAFU took the words right out of my mouth. I was going to say in honor of the gamble that will be taking place with Julie Taymor and Spiderman.
While we're waiting for Spidey to land on Broadway, why not rent out the auditorium?
Foxwoods Theatre
SNAFU, that made me chuckle!
We could do a BWW Talent Show! Who's game?
