There's Theater Circle (I think that's the name) next to the St. James theater on 44th. A much smaller shop in Shubert Alley: 1 Shubert Alley. Another shop underneath the Marriot Marquis hotel on Broadway between 45th and 46th. Colony which is mainly musical scores and music on 49th. The Drama Book Shop is on 40th between 7th and 8th avenues.

They all have different names, but save for size, are more or less the same. The one on 44th street has a book store in the back.
Yes; Theatre Circle, One Shubert Alley, and Broadway New York are all owned by the same company and therefore have mostly the same items.
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Yeah, the memorabilia stores in NY are somewhat lacking, but I don't remember Dress Circle having all that much in the way of merchandise. Mostly CDs, and then a smattering of shirts and memorabilia type things downstairs.
Though it's not stocked with memorabilia at all, as far as theatre books go, the Drama Book Shop is a treasure. The back room of Theatre Circle has an OK selection, but the Drama Book Shop is great! They don't have EVERYTHING, but they're very friendly about finding things and have a rather immense selection. It's worth walking a few blocks out of the way to 40th Street to check it out.
