Yay!
Looks like the N2N groupies are taking it over already. And I mean, I love N2N but how did Sergio Trujillo's choreography even manage to get a single vote already? Really?

The Billys are leading the "Leading Actor in a Musical" category.

I don't like the lack of separation between plays and musicals.

I voted. How do you see the results?
Also, why is Lauren Ambrose not listed under Featured Actress in a Play?

It's also winning Best Book, which I somehow find even funnier than the fact it's winning Best Musical. The Rock of Ages trolls have come out to play.

Yeah, how do you see the results?

YEAH I WANT TO SEE THE RESULTS.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

This is what you get when ROA fangirls (who make the wicked fan-base look mature) make multiple e-mail addresses.

This is absolutely hysterical, seriously!
Amy Spanger is on track to start leading the Best Actress in a Musical race and ROA is winning Best Book and Best Direction. If this is how the BWW Awards are going, the Broadway.com Awards should be a freaking riot.

When does voting close? I haven't seen all the shows yet (I live in the UK and saw many of the eligible shows when I was in New York last Fall but will not see the rest until I get over therev in a couple of weeks). I want to see all the shows before casting my votes - so hopefully voting will not close for a while yet.

Rock of Ages!?! Hopefully, the Tony voters aren't as blinded by crap disguising itself with loud music and lots of jumping up and down.

Thanks, Rob. That's great. I'll be back home from my New York trip well before then to vote.

yeah, CATSNYREVIVAL... blinded like NY TIMES, New Yorker, Village Voice, Rolling Stone, and the countless other publications that gave ROA a rave. Or blinded like the 97% capacity that ROA is operating at consistently. Or blinded by the two hours of laughter and standing ovations that THAT show creates EVERY night. It may not be your cup of tea but it happens to be the cup of tea of A LOT of really smart people... a lot of the people you guys worship in these threads.
Since this is a fan award, I actually DO hope that fans aren't blinded by the FACT that the producers of Next To Normal are buying large blocks of tickets to create the illusion that their show is actually selling well and getting good attendance. YEP. Sure hope fans aren't blinded by that FACT. And they aren't the only one.
