Tiny-
Better go all next week. Just some advice.
I am glad someone liked this show. I for one loved the cast but the book was a disaster and the garbage costumes made me cringe.
But the singers were very good.
I love Margo Channing's idea to put them all into another show, a concert of Rock Musicals like Hair, Grease, Tick Tick Boom, Caligulia!
And Dreamgirls for the star of this show.

Tiny-
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I hope I am wrong.
I really do for all the tiny toons out there.
I never want a show to close, just an fyi unless it is dreck.
Simon is starting to salivate. I thought I heard it.

Posted: 10/21/04 at 12:25amI don't know how any Broadway supporter would want a dark theatre.

Who does? I sure don't. But think of the two hours wasted and the huge ticket price.
I would rather spend the money on a great show.
There are so many.
My favorites:
Laugh Whore
Forbidden Broadway
Mandy Patinkin in Concert
Avenue Q
Wicked
Golda's Balcony
I Am My Own Wife

And it's interesting to note how one's opinion of a show is often swayed by what they pay for a ticket.
It will come down to those people actually willing buy tickets to keep any show alive.

Comps are given to press after it opens.
And I never ask for tickets unless I am doing an interview or review.
I think the cast of this show are all very talented singers. I just wish they had better material to work with.
I was entertained. Train wrecks are fun to watch.

To be honest, I stopped having the ones in my icon and moved onto the "Coffee Light Fraps" and they are real good!!! But, to save money..I have one once a month :o( Damn starbucks.
Dickon I am sorry what I said was stupid so ignore it. I'm just scared for certain people and a little jittery. But, I think everything will be fine.

Posted: 10/21/04 at 10:17amMy friend saw it Monday. He said he didn't love it and didn't hate it. He felt the performers were off the charts, especially Karen. MAJOR POINT: He commented that Brooklyn's concept was done 20 years ago. It's called Godspell.
