This is one of my favorite movies and I think it could make a great musical, but I’m so disappointed to hear they’re not going to write an original score.

The sexual politics in that film have not aged well. I’m curious how they’ll handle the homophobic assault that the film played for laughs. Maybe they’ll present the screenplay without comment like the Cruel Intentions musical did.
