i was leaving for a cruise from seattle last summer so i had a ticket for the first performance that was cancelled.. it was a shame what happened and was understandable but I can't wait! came so close to seeing the legit premier! haha
Does anyone else think the next announcement will be O'Brien and Mitchell have left LOVE WILL NOT DIE?
Hooray to the announcement! Saddended by the wait, though.
The more time to perfect, my dears.
I hope they are still planning a pre-Broadway run in Toronto!
Yeah, it looks like the producers of CMIYC are really throwing the name out there...good for them...they are ahead in the race...

Very excited by this news. The show has a lot of potential.
I hope McNally's cliche, insufferable, numbingly boring book has been fixed.
I hope most of the show is reworked.

Does anyone know what the casting is going to be like? Is it going to be pretty much the same as the Seattle production?
Word of mouth is pretty bad on this one.
I agree with both taylorPHENOMENON2 and beautywickedlover. I saw the show in Seattle and it does have potential but really needs some work or it will flop in NYC.
I know Seattle was a "regional" production, but it looked cheap and the whole orchestra on stage thing was not a good idea in my opinion. The score has some good and bad moments...there was some sing-a-long song called something like "bury me by the one you love" or something that was pretty horrid. Kerry Butler had the best song in the show. Good and bad moments....
I was hoping this would be announced soon! Too bad it's so far away! But just like what was said before it gives them more time to perfect the show! It also gives me more time to schedule my next trip! I really hope that the actors remain the same (Norbert and Aaron especially). I really like what little I saw of their performances online.
"there was some sing-a-long song called something like "bury me by the one you love" or something that was pretty horrid."
A sing-a-long featuring cast members in the aisles, accordions and projected bubbles on screen. How that was even CONCEIVED continues to allude me.

How did that even fit into the show?
