She was practically MANIACAL singing that number! If last night taught us anything, it’s that if you can’t sing the notes, then act the hell out of it!

We were all wincing during the entire performance. I've enjoyed her before, but that was just plain bad.

Yes, she CLEARLY overacted and copied Barbara HOWEVER..It is clear she is definitely a beautifully trained singer, and chose to perform the song the way she did. She is a solid performer, I mean if you thought she was bad..what did you think of CZJ??? Also, being a singer training daily...what she did is truly amazing.

Posted: 6/14/10 at 9:32pmI actually thought she was fantastic--sometimes her energy and excitement seemed to get the better of her and she overdid it a bit--but she's an extremely talented young woman. I saw the TONY dress rehearsal and she was a little less frazzled than at the actual performance and she brought the house down. But nonetheless, she is certainly not untalented....and good for her for succeeding in professional theatre in addition to making a name for herself in the Hollywood scene. I only hope to be half as lucky.
