Yeah...and apparently it "happens" to certain people far more often than others. Just sayin'.

100% agree. The two leading men have had much better attendance than Lea this entire run.

I’ve seen it before with all 3 leads so her being out didn’t bother me. And honestly of the 3 she’s the one I care the least about, I just wanted to see Nicholas Christopher again. But I know people come just for Lea, so it sucks it’s such a last minute thing

Reality check. Before getting laryngitis and bronchitis a few weeks ago and having to miss four performances on doctor's orders, and she had missed the prior Saturday when the laryngitis was just starting, Lea had only had 3 unscheduled performances out in the whole run. Aaron had missed 3 or 4 and I think Nik two.
Lea had more scheduled leave as she prioritised her kids when her son had his school breaks. I understand Nik never taking leave unless he was sick as he has talked about his financial situation before Chess and Aaron doesn't take much leave but if you are judging Lea for prioritising her kids you are being unfair.

Further reality check. Apparently Lea's son's kindy graduation ran long and Lea couldn't make it back in time.
Lea has made it very clear her kids come first.
Joshua Henry, when they extended Ragtime, asked not to do Sunday matinees because he wanted to spend more time with his kids, not a peep but Lea taking scheduled absences when her son has his school breaks is a mark against her. double standards all around.

Thank you, they tried to give Lea **** for Funny Girl, when she got covid twice, had a sick kid who had to have weekly treatments for a while, was diagnosed with endometriosis and had at least one miscarriage.
