My friend and I decided to pay full price for these two shows because we wanted good seats (as I mentioned in another thread, excuse me).
Well haha, for the seats we wanted, they were all sold and we had to settle for late April for both Cabaret and Hedwig. I'm sure it's Neil Patrick Harris' name that did it for Hedwig. I'm happy for JCM anyway!

Well, Roundabout's subscribers are filling the prime seating areas for most of Cabaret's run.
And Hedwig isn't even starting performances until the very end of March, so late April isn't really that indicative of much.
It also seems to me that the center orchestra for Hedwig is either largely premium or simply held back from sale.

For Hedwig, we took late April because we extended our seat selection to the mezz. We were in late May when we gave up on front Orchestra.
I was wondering why the front two rows of the mezz in Cabaret were blacked out every single night. Subscribers!

Posted: 11/23/13 at 6:52pmBetween holding back for premium and subscribers, I both can't wait to see these shows AND have no tickets booked. I'll just sort something last-minute and probably do better. Advance sales are becoming difficult when they expect us to pony up for side orchestra seats way in advance.

You'll probably do a lot better than we did if you don't limit your seat choice the way we did. We only wanted first few rows center orch. for hedwig, and front mezz. for Cabaret.
Good luck!

Posted: 11/25/13 at 10:29amWe were looking for Memorial Day weekend and had to settle on Row N, as everything in front of that was Premium priced. It looks like they've raised the price on premium seats pretty significantly from when we bought during the first public presale

Posted: 11/25/13 at 2:18pmAny thoughts about which would be better: next to last row of tables center orchestra, or second row aisle of center mezzanine? These are my best options for tickets in May. I saw a really old post that said some of the rear orchestra at Studio 54 have obstructed views.

Posted: 11/25/13 at 7:46pmI would think 2nd row Mezz would be much better. I just got tix for Cabaret in the 1st row of the Rear Mezz (which I think equates to being the 5th row of the Mezz). Enjoy!
