I never posted about this yet, but this is like a dream come true for me. I've always kicked myself in the rear for not catching this when I had the chance. I absolutely love the story and cast recording. I didn't think I would actually be able to see it on stage for years to come, so I'll buy tickets as soon as they are available this time!

I don't see how one can prefer a replacement over the original

Well, unless your preference has little if anything to do with the character portrayal and more about how he looks...
Well, no. I liked Joel Grey's performance more. I don't hate Cumming as the Emcee but I'm just not crazy about his voice. It's just a matter of opinion
