It's got at tag from Barbara Matera's in it and it looks like something from the 90's but can't place it.

I don't recall her her wearing anything that "fancy" in Gypsy. It doesn't strike me as anything that would fit her Broadway shows. The bolero top made me think "Annie Get Your Gun" but I'm not sure of that either. Seems too fancy for Annie as well.

Are we sure this is from Broadway? Maybe she wore it to the Tony's?

The only thing that, to me, comes close is that one dress she wrote in Gypsy, in that photo with her hands out, sitting on a block or trunk. Not the same, but closest thing I could find.

Also, looks too classy for "The Goodbye Girl"

It's definitely not the dress from Gypsy you are thinking about, fashionguru. That dress had a much more conservative neckline. I have a picture but can't post it right now. I'm going with Pennies From Heaven - not I Wanna Be Bad, that dress is peach colored and much more a dance costume. But maybe a dress she wore while her character was a prostitute. I'm thinking maybe when Eileen and Arthur first meet up again.

NewinTown, that would have been my other guess. There is one picture of her dancing (she is being held in a slight dip) from that show and I was thinking that might be the dress. But for the life of me, I can't find the picture anywhere. Does anyone else know what picture from On The Town, I'm referring to?
