How long is Piazza slated to run 'til now? I hope it moves to Broadway or extends, and extends... and extends... (and extends) until I can get to NY to see it!

It is on Broadway (the Beaumont is a Broadway house), that's why it was eligible to win 6 Tonys. Don't expect a move -- it's way too expensive.

Piazza is a gorgeous production -- definitely worth seeing for the technical aspects of the show alone.

Personally, I feel it's possibly the best musical theatre piece written in past 43 years. Right up there with Caroline or Change and Sweeney Todd.
See it - you won't be disappointed

Hm, I actually didn't like the Broadway Abridged parody. Wasn't as clever as some of the others (I enjoyed the Spamalot one better). They didn't have much to jab at, besides the book.
