How long is Piazza slated to run 'til now? I hope it moves to Broadway or extends, and extends... and extends... (and extends) until I can get to NY to see it! re: Can someone give me a review on 'The Light in the Piazza'? I don't know

It is on Broadway (the Beaumont is a Broadway house), that's why it was eligible to win 6 Tonys. Don't expect a move -- it's way too expensive.

Not nearly as well written as Margo's review, but here are my thoughts. Bottom line...see the show.

Piazza is a gorgeous production -- definitely worth seeing for the technical aspects of the show alone.

Personally, I feel it's possibly the best musical theatre piece written in past 43 years. Right up there with Caroline or Change and Sweeney Todd.
See it - you won't be disappointed

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Hm, I actually didn't like the Broadway Abridged parody. Wasn't as clever as some of the others (I enjoyed the Spamalot one better). They didn't have much to jab at, besides the book.
