Should they really be billing it "A New Musical" when it debuted 10 years ago? The article wasn't clear on if they're making changes.

If I recall, "Annie" didn't remove the branding of "A New Musical" until sometime in the 2000s, but they were also punning on the New Deal, so they had something of an excuse.

Does anyone know the history of the phrase ‘a new musical’? I must admit I’ve always found it very strange.

Bruni is great. For a while i was hearing Warren Carlyle who would have been a disaster as director.

I sadly didn't get to see it in Durham last year. Although I actually did catch Carmen Cusack in concert in Raleigh a couple months ago. She even treated the audience with a few songs from the show, all of which were total bangers. My favorite of the lot would have to be this rousing number titled ‘The Church of Baseball.’
