We've just had Debbie Reynolds in London in a truly amazing one woman show and now we are to get her daughter in October for 4 weeks.
Debbie tells the audience who may be too young to know her brilliant early career, at the top of the show, 'Hello, I'm Princess Lea's mother! No? OK I'm in 'Will & Grace'! and the audience roared as she teased them with the lines 'no panties, look no panties'
There is a possibility that Ms Reynolds will bring her show back to London and the two of them may find themselves on the London stage at the same time just streets apart!

This news makes me so happy. I really enjoyed reading Wishful Drinking and had a total blast at the show. Fisher somehow balances the humorous wisecracking with the sublime wisdom to create one of my favorite events of the season.

I just finished reading the book on Friday. Since I missed the show, I'm thrilled to hear this.

I missed the show too, so I justread the book and absolutely loved it. Hilarious! Can't wait for this.

Great news. The show is perfect for an HBO broadcast or something similar. I'm glad someone is filming it.

The book and the show are fantastic! I'm so thrilled, cannot wait to buy this.

Totally SUCKS the entire one-woman show isn't being used. They are filming 2 performances but will ONLY be using snippets and clips from these filmings incorporated into a feature-length HBO documentary on Carrie Fisher. The entire show isn't being used.

I hadn't heard that. If true, it kind of sucks, but really, the entire show plus another hour exists as an audio recording (the audiobook version).
