I like the whimsy of it. Better than their awful (off-b'way) ad campaign.

Why would they not have gone with the artwork original to this production? Anyone actually know?

Personally, I think it's an improvement from the show artwork. The opposite of what Light in the Piazza did for their CD.

I don't necessarily think it's terrible, but it looks like if the musical had been made in the seventies, did well and this was the artwork for the vinyl.

The artwork for the flames looks sorta jazzy. Like "Eartha Kitt Sings Songs From Carrie".

In a way, it makes sense. Like, for people who don't know anything about the musical, if they saw that, they would recognize it from the film.
