Just curious...what show/shows do you really wish had a recording?
Me personally I would say
Thunder Knocking on the Door Off broadway cast
One Mo Time Revival cast
Civil War OBC
No No Nanette Encore cast
And not to mention Cry-Baby
These are not my most favorite shows but I love some of the music from them.

Like the 2004 La Cage aux Folles. It still makes me sick that it was never recorded. And there were labels that tried, too. The producers wouldn't give a cent to the endeavor. A travesty.

Posted: 10/1/08 at 11:05pmDid the truth regarding the rumoured Cry-Baby recording ever come out? I remember there was Facebook pictures of the entire cast in the recording studio, but then it was denied any such thing was done.

Posted: 10/1/08 at 11:13pmI think Cry-Baby was recorded, because I also remember seeing pictures of the cast in a recording studio. What probably happened was the the show closed before the details of the release could be worked out.
