I'm not gonna like...the inflatable set idea is a good idea for a tour that is doing REALLY short engagements. I think it looks great from a distance...and if they make it better looking (less cartoony) I think its a great idea for low budget tours. However, I would NOT want this to become the norm for most shows haha

Inflatable? That explains why we were not allowed to visit Old Deuteronomy at intermission. The show was in champaign for one night - and I took my 9 year old down to the stage only to be told "No" that we couldn't go up on stage"no" and I kept my cool....mostly.
But what a way to dampen one of the "high points" of the show.
FWIW, at intermission my 9 year old said she was enjoying the show but didn't understand what was going on. The 16 year old - who saw Cats at the WinterGarden shortly before it closed - was in heaven with memories of attending the show and watching the video. Me...I was back to be bored by the whole thing.
